Reduced Pricing for Clavis Sinica

The Clavis Sinica program is the product of many thousands of hours of work over a period of ten years, and the price, we believe, is a reasonable one for software that offers all the features that it does. We also recognize, however, that the regular price will be out of reach for many potential users of the program, especially in less developed areas. In the interest of making it available to as many people as possible, we are pleased to provide copies of the standard version of the program for free or at a reduced price to students of Chinese in any part of the world who cannot afford to pay the full price.

Requests for free or reduced-price copies of the program should be sent by postal mail to Clavis Sinica, 1465 King George Blvd., Ann Arbor, MI 48104, USA. Please include the following with your request:

  1. A brief letter explaining your circumstances and your need for Clavis Sinica
  2. Your complete mailing address and email address
  3. A picture postcard from your hometown, signed and dated on the back
  4. An international money order payable to Clavis Sinica for whatever portion of the regular price, if any, you can reasonably afford
